Founded in 2023 by Jessey Minhas, whose career focused on designing highly scalable dental practice systems, Smili began as a concept dedicated to transforming the traditional dental ownership model.
Drawing from more than 25 years of industry experience in operational efficiency, team building, patient-base development, and customer-experience innovation, Smili established many of the foundational systems that helped early practices thrive.
In 2025, Smili transitioned into a new era of fully independent ownership and leadership, ensuring the company’s core principles continue while evolving with modern governance standards.
Today, Smili supports new dental business owners across Canada with proven systems, operational structure, and a strong brand framework — empowering each practice to operate independently while benefiting from shared excellence.
